The Record reported on the last Fed bus ride before the 31 July deadline for ceasing illegal operation set in the May ruling. The ruling from last week's hearing on licensing Fed bus has yet to be made.

Friday's Fed Bus service was the last of the semester, and students on the 3 p.m. bus to Square One in Mississauga were mostly angry that it might be the last forever.

"Waterloo is a pretty academic institution, so people don't have time to worry about other things," said Priya Kekrell. "The fact that so many people are concerned shows how important it is."

Kekrell said the possible end of the service came as a shock on campus. "You can't take the Fed Bus away from us."
